Happy Thursday

Mylee wasn't quite done with her morning work and we needed to run a few errands. She loaded up with her language book in hand and finished along the way.

It was Shea's turn to build a back bone today
and test its strength, however...we've been studying ancien
t Early American people and their way of life in Social Studies. So he decided that he'd build a spear instead. Its kind of hard to see the spearhead in this picture, but he has a nice one from Nauvoo. He says to me, "It works! ...and it sharp. I tried it on Mylee." LOL

For lunch today we had Ramen noodles, goldfish crackers, koolaid and mint oreos. The oreos were a delicious afterthought so they didn't make it in the photo.

On September 2, 1789, the United States Treasury was established. So today for journal the kids got to design their very own one dollar bill. Mylee is proudly displaying her new money featuring Maelin Cronin. Hahah. So cute!

For Physical Education today we played on the trampoline. Shea's natural habitat. :) We may also continue our Physical Education class at the pool this afternoon...wink, wink.

Tomorrow we will be taking lots of tests in preparation for our fun filled weekend at Bogue Chitto! Have a great day.
