We started the day with writing a card to a Grandparent. Today was Grandparents Day! Maelin decided she needed to draw on a card or two...or three...or four! LOL
Shea drew a picture illustrating some life cycles. Shown here are "Direct Development" and "incomplete Metamorphosis."
Maelin and Tierney (with some occasional help from Shea and Mylee) built an "amazing" marble race amidst the morning school hours.
For lunch today we had chili cheese dogs....or at least the potential for such...most opted to put chili on the side. I didn't...and it was good!
Today we had a couple of "firsts." Shea and Mylee had their first physical education class at the Baptist Healthplex. I dropped them off and picked them up and they were so excited. They LOVED it....too bad I forgot to snap a picture! Oh well...I did get a picture of Mylee outside of the farm where she takes riding lessons once a week. Today was her first real "jump!" It wasn't big..but it was big for us. She was so proud...and so was I! She makes a beautiful cowgirl!
