Monday again...oops Missed a few blog entries haha

Mylee had just posed with a frowning face while taking her spelling test, then laughed.  HA!  I caught her laugh instead of her frown.  After all how bad can it be with popcorn and a dr. Pepper...I mean really?!

So on top of our game today we even did journal this morning.

Not sure if you can tell in this picture but we were visited by some crazy flock of birds today LOL!

Tierney and maelin were in the exergame room today.  They LOVED it!  What a great day :)

Mondays are always crazy!

Somehow Hershey's new leash turned out to be a huge distraction today!  Guess what needs to go in their stockings next year?!

Finishing up a math unit..which is good because we need to pick up the math pace for the 2nd half of this year!

....and Brownies! YUM  Don't worry, we worked them off at homeschool P.E. today.  The little girls' class went swimming!  Tierney was NOT happy that she was required to wear a float. haha

Shea and Mylee are both studying the solar system.  Shea has finished his morning work and is waiting on Mylee to help with their solar system project.

Hopey comes to visit Luv and Learning

Today got off to a slow start...I had to go to the grocery store and the kids were still hyped up from their field trip.  I did however bring home some motivation in a box :) Yummy

I'm not sure why I never picked up my camera until lunch (subs)...

Oh wait a minute...now I remember! haha.  Tierney and maelin had a friend come visit and it was all about changing princess shoes and fixing hair. LOL

 Kevin escorted Shea and Mylee to WLBT with our homeschool group this morning!  They had so much fun. :)

They got to meet lots of the news staff.

Our homeschool group had a spelling bee at the library. It was fun...even though this picture doesn't look like it! haha

Mylee got out on a misunderstood word...service sure did sound like surface :(  Lesson learned: ask for the definition!

Tests, tests and more tests

I was very busy making sure that Shea and Mylee were taking all the tests they needed to this morning.  Meanwhile, Tierney decided to get herself some cereal in this black cup.  Fortunately I came into the kitchen just before she was about to pour milk into the cup. whew!  That probably wasn't going to end well.

I think all the testing was making the kids crazy.  Here Shea has caught an electronic battle bug and from the looks of it....he wants to smash it!?  I advised scaring a sister instead.

Lunch!  Chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese.   Yum!....back to testing!

Starting a new book today :)

 I had to sneak to the grocery store this morning to hit up some of the Kroger sales so it took a little recovery time when I got back.  Shea had decided that the tricycle was to be his permanent chair for the day....I let it slide but man that thing needs some oil! Squeak Squeak!

Maelin was more than happy listening to Alvin and The Chipmunks on the mp3 player and enjoying a lunchable that I picked up at the store for lunch this morning :)

Mylee still somehow managed to find time to talk to Nanny and place birthday orders...um she does realize her birthday is in July right?! LOL

Our new book to read aloud together.  I am very excited about this one!

After our snow day on monday, we seemed a little low in the motivation department.

So I pulled out the bag of motivation. LOL!  Will work for eggs.

Chicken noodle soup for lunch...Maelin took out the chicken and dipped it in A1 then ate the rest of the soup.

We ended the night with a fantastic blue and gold banquet!!

Oh no!  Shea is getting his totin chit and his fire chint.  Watch out!

Busy busy busy!

Spelling test...SpellingCity.com made some improvements to their site so we were playing with the new crossword game!
